Hire Information

From 9:00am any day to 3:00pm last day, except Fridays and the day before Long Weekends. Friday and the day before Long Weekend departure is at 3pm and hire terminates at 11am.

• Extra payment is required for changes to these times.

The number of persons (including children) permitted on hired boat must not exceed the booked hire number (2, 4, 8, 10 or 12) under ANY circumstances.

Deposit required to secure the booking is  $500.

A pre-authorisation of $1,000 completed by a Visa or MasterCard on ALL Houseboats. Increased bonds required for multiple hires and single sex groups.

The bond is  frozen by the bank and then "defrosted" back onto  your account after 5 working days.  These funds are used by Management for any infringements or discretions contrary to the contract.

The deposit less $65 cancellation fee, will only be returned if notified 6 weeks before the hire period, or after this period only if we are able to relet the boat for the full period.

• Bank transfer details will be sent to you once you reserve your vessel.
• OR Credit Card/EFTPOS transactions may be done over the phone (9985 7722).
• NO cheques and Money Orders
• The full hire amount must be paid on the day of your hire. This is additional to the deposit and bond.
• AMEX and Diners cards are NOT accepte

All houseboats are charged at $35 per motoring hour. Motoring charges must be paid at the completion of your hire.

There is a minimum charge of $35, paid on completion of your hire. You will be charged extra if dishes are not done and/or the houseboat is returned in an unsatisfactory condition of cleanliness - particularly if fish scales and smiliar are found.

All features listed (Excluding outboard dinghy motor) are included in the hire rate at no extra charge. Some items, however, may not be available for your hire, due to circumstances beyond Management's control.

These may be purchased at the Marina.

Hirers must be at anchor from dusk to dawn.

To ensure your houseboat is ready on time for its next hire, late returns are charged $66 per hour or part thereof to cover standby labour costs.

All hirers must have bed linen on the houseboat - you can either bring your own or hire this from us.

• A single set of 1 x single doona, 1 x pillow, covers, sheet and towel = $25.
• A double set of 1 x double doona, 2 x pillows, covers, sheet and towels = $50.
• Pillow (and cover) can also be hired for $5 each.
• Couples (a booking of 2 persons) have linen included in hire.

Are subject to change without notice. Payment of deposit will secure the hire rate.

GST components are included in all advertised prices.

The Hawkesbury River is a National Park. Pets and firearms are not permitted.

Available at the Marina, please try and limit vehicle numbers to two per boat hire.
