Houseboat Moorings
Moorings you may use:
- Public moorings are generally orange. These are shown on our map as circled numbers in yellow.
- 4 x moorings at Hawkesbury River Marina – no specific colour (location shown on map)
- America Bay and Refuge Bay. There are about 200 moorings here and although private you can use them. However, you must vacate the mooring if the owner wishes to use it.
- Refuge Bay x 1 - Brooklyn Marina Boat Club. Orange bee hive shaped with white foam buoy attached (location shown on map)
- America Bay x 1 - Brooklyn Marina Boat Club. Orange bee hive shaped with white foam buoy attached (location shown on map)
- 3 x Peats Bight Restaurant but ONLY if you are booked in at the restaurant and this is pre-arranged with them
- 2 x Olga Bay (west of road bridge) owned by another houseboat operator and only available if boats from this operator are not requesting to use the moorings
- 2 x between the Road Bridges & Train Bridge owned by another houseboat operator and only available if boats from this operator are not requesting to use the moorings
- 2 x Public moorings at Cottage Point (refer to location on map & photo)
Moorings you are NOT permitted to use
- Commercial / Club moorings = generally orange
- Emergency moorings = blue
- Courtesy moorings = pink
- Parsley Bay – these are all private moorings
- Dangar Island – these are all private moorings
- Little Wobby Beach – these are all private moorings
- Cottage Point – these are all private moorings
- Bobbin Head – these are all private moorings
- Apple Tree Bay – these are all private moorings
- Berowra Waters – these are all private moorings
- Bar Point – these are all private moorings
- Spencer – these are all private moorings
- Sandbrook Inlet (the Gut) this area can only be entered with us driving
